Tunisian authorities have instructed government buildings to refrain from using air conditioning, according to Al Arabiya sources, amid unprecedented pressure on the electricity grid following record-breaking temperatures. The National Institute of Meteorology (a government agency) reported that temperatures exceeded normal levels by approximately 13 degrees Celsius.
