Rockhounding Adventure Travel to Succor Creek & Graveyard Point Oregon
Rockhounding Adventure Travel to Succor Creek & Graveyard Point Oregon this is an X marks on how to get to both these amazing places to rockhound. We took a rockhounding adventure vacation! Where do we go? Oregon, Idaho & Montana. Why? We were looking for rocks and agates, of course. Our journey started out in Oregon, then we went to Idaho, then onto Montana. It didn't stop there. On our way back, we met with Randy Robin in Idaho, a fellow rockhound & subscriber, who showed us two amazing rocks collecting area's. The first one is call Succor Creek (pronounced sucker creek) and the second one is called Graveyard Point in Idaho & Oregon. This area is managed by Bureau of Land Management and except where there are "mine markers" this huge area is open to the public to rockhound. This area holds some fantastic examples of bio-geo genesis, mossy and plume agates where bacteria used rocks to protect themselves from the harsh environment around them. Also a whole bunch or other kinds of cool rocks to collect. Follow along with us as we show where you can collect some of these beauties for your own! We also added a "travel to" video in this playlist to aid you in driving right up to these areas!
