December 1998 Commercials (CBS & The Fox Family Channel)

These are all commercials from a VHS tape that was recorded way back when I was only a two years and a few days/weeks old. I can't pinpoint the exact dates these were recorded, but I do know it was somewhere in December 1998. The tape started with a CBS airing of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (the original Rankin-Bass film). The footage from that portion of the tape was never digitized, and the cassette itself is now lost. The rest of the tape was converted to DVD more than a decade ago, and has now been made digital, and mostly featured content from the Fox Family Channel (The Original 25 Days of Christmas presents Rudolph's Shiny New Year, The Year Without a Santa Clause, and Santa Clause is Coming to Town), and some more CBS near the end (Frosty the Snowman and a Charlie Brown Christmas). The commercials shown first in this video are the ones i remember from the lost part of the tape where the original Rudolph on CBS was (Hasbro presents Family Game Night, McDonald's/A Bug's Life Happy Meal Toys, etc), found from another source, and some others from around that same time which I vaguely remember can be seen near the end of this video as well. The rest are all from the TV recording I grew up with, which include commercials for the Fox Family Channel, Hamburger Helper, USPS, Winnie-the-Pooh interactive toys, Betty Crocker, Prilosec (pre-Larry the Cable Guy), and more. Does anybody remember ever seeing these? I know it's not Christmas yet, but if I'm not here making more videos by then, I'll say it now, just in case: MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!
