Trondheim - Train Conductor World
The Voxel Agents just came out with another major TCW update, adding Trondheim to the map! I really like the little lights and subtle sounds the bridge makes, though functionally, I think it's going to take some getting used to when it comes to maneuvering trains around it as it enters and exits the field of play, especially since getting hit with 2 parallel streamliners while I've got a leftward track 3 or 4 train is quite hard to work around. Also, I feel like they crank the difficulty up maybe a bit too much on Chaos - I think they forget that not everyone knows the "hold back" tech, and I really don't see casual players getting that 3rd star. I'm still not sure how I feel about the visitor passes - I guess they mainly exist to let early game players get a taste of the new content when they aren't close to properly unlocking it, and in that case, I understand their implementation. The fun facts about the locales feel kind of out of place to me though, as well as the delivery of unique goods just for the visitor pass rounds. Personally, I feel like they could probably find a better place to include locale fun facts than having Lucie going "did you know" right before I go back to playing the video game, like maybe in some sort of info menu you can access on the map, and I feel like unique goods make more sense to just be tied to warehouses, which there should really be some permanent warehouses in the game by now, since they've already run 2 timed event warehouses. On the topic of warehouses and unique goods, they should give you the option to pick the difficulty you play on a unique goods round. ...I think I'm going on a tangent... Oh, and one more thing: those "birthday tile" packs are quite off-putting to me. I mean, I know the VAs need to make a living, but I have a passionate distain for limited time exclusives and fomo stuff. Personally, I'm still sticking to my no buying tiles policy, but if they ever come out with another customization kit, that's something I'll probably buy. 0:00 Visitor Pass 1:57 Normal 4:39 Hard 6:45 Chaos 20:11 Chaos* Attempts
