Woodturning - Spray Paint?! #Speedy

I haven’t made a vase or used this type of finish in a while so I thought it would be a good idea to combine the two. This finish always looks great and is actually really fun to do. The Ash log was sanded to 240 grit and then sprayed with ebonising spray, after this was rubbed down, I layer of gold gilt cream was applied. The vase is over 245mm high and 100mm at its widest point. Let me know what you think and if you want to see more pieces with the black and gold finish. Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practise. The gloves I wear are tight fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin.
