IRAN ESCALATES AFTER US STRIKES: IS THE HORMUZ CRISIS SPIRALLING OUT OF CONTROL? By Saurabh Shahi The Strait of Hormuz is once again at the centre of a dangerous military escalation. After a fresh wave of American strikes across Iranian territory, Tehran has responded by targeting U.S. military assets across the Gulf. ▪️The conflict is no longer confined to missile exchanges. ▪️It now threatens one of the world’s most critical energy corridors. As military pressure intensifies, global shipping, oil markets and regional stability are all at stake. Targets reportedly stretched across multiple parts of Iran, with Washington claiming the attacks focused on military infrastructure, command centres and strategic assets. Reports indicate attacks aimed at early warning systems, radar installations and Patriot air defence infrastructure linked to U.S. bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and other regional locations.
