Nitrogen Deficiency and FIX - (Aquaponics)

I noticed I am having a nitrogen (No3) deficiency in the leaves of my plants so I checked my iron with my Iron Checker (http://j.mp/2phmWQ5), checked my pH, and my nitrates. The thing about iron is your pH needs to be right in order for your iron to be taken up by your plants. The same is true for your nitrates. The pH I keep my system at is right around 6.6 to 6.8. I will be making some changes to get my nitrates up so lets see how this goes:) I hope my ideas helps someone out there!
