[Project Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDI] #8 | It's about time... end of the project

The time has come to say goodbye to our tireless friend, with whom we've spent so much time in our family. Of course, before saying goodbye, it's time to dress it up and fix a few things so its next owner doesn't have to worry about anything for many miles. I replaced the tailgate dampers, which were already ruined. At the MOT, the only defect was the burned-out bulb on the left taillight, so it needed to be fixed. Speaking of bulbs, there were several burned-out bulbs on the dashboard, so we replaced them with new ones. I've also refreshed the front end, restoring the headlights with polymer vapor and reinforcing the bumper by welding a crack caused by a minor accident a few years ago. This involved removing the bumper, which, on this car, takes some work. The passenger door catch has also been replaced, as due to that accident, the door was rubbing against the fender for a long time, forcing the catch to fail. Finally, the exhaust muffler support has been replaced, as the original was severely rusted, and it was only a matter of time before it stopped doing its job. As you can see, I've put a lot of dedication and love into a vehicle that deserves it and will remain forever in our memories. It's hard to part with it, but I don't have the time I'd like to dedicate to it, living more than 1,400 km apart, so we have to let it go.
