Stempel-Jagd im Grenzland | Harzer Wandernadel zwischen Thüringen und Niedersachsen

Hey everyone On Saturday morning, we finally got started – a hike through the beautiful Thuringian Forest! Our journey began at the new Witches' Tower in Rothesmühle. The first stamp was already in the air as we passed the Ziegenalm in Sophienhof, but unfortunately, stamp point 97 was closed. No problem! We simply got a "mental stamp" from a distance – always with a smile on our faces! We continued on to the Carlsberg Tower, stamp point 51. The wind was really strong, but we didn't let that stop us and climbed up the tower anyway. The view was amazing! After this little adventure, we returned to the car and continued on to Sülzhayn to stamp point 96, where we visited the former stone mill. Even though the mill itself was no longer there, we discovered an impressive rock formation that simply took our breath away. After Thuringia, our route led us just across the border to Bad Sachsa. Dusk approached, and the Philippsgruß 220 mountain hut awaited us – with a view we won't soon forget. It was the perfect moment to reflect on the day. But that wasn't all! Our last stop took us to what was once the world's largest frying pan, where the largest omelet was prepared in 1980. Simply crazy, right? To round things off, we went to stamp point 43 on the Weser-Elbe watershed, the "Hohe Tür" (High Door). It was long dark when we set out on a night hike – and it was the perfect end to our adventure. We're only 7 stamps away from becoming the Hiking Emperor – we can hardly wait to continue! Enjoy! Best regards, Marco
