I Bought Tulips and Accidentally Painted a Whole Collection

https://www.artwrk.ca/sabina-fenn A few months ago, I bought myself a simple bouquet of tulips. At the time, I was coming off the heels of an art show and feeling a little disconnected from painting. I wasn't trying to start a new collection, I just wanted to get back into the studio and enjoy the process again. My plan was simple: paint a few small tulip studies on some 8x10 canvases I had lying around. As it turns out, tulips had other plans. What started as a small creative exercise slowly grew into an entire collection of paintings inspired by these cheerful flowers. In this video, I share the journey from those first studies to the larger works that followed, along with a few reflections on creativity, inspiration, and what happens when we stop trying to force things. If you've been feeling stuck creatively, this video is your reminder that inspiration can come from the simplest places. And sometimes, all it takes is a bouquet of tulips. 🌷 — 🌷 The "In Bloom" collection releases first to newsletter subscribers on June 11.
