Nico Ditch is an ancient border that runs across the south of Manchester UK. It dates back over a thousand years. Its also known as Mykel ditch or Mykelldiche. It dates back to Anglo Saxon times and was thought to be the Border between the ancient Anglo Saxon administrations of Mercia and Northumbria. It is a very old ditch relating to Mediaeval times.
