Follow these steps to back up data or restore data from a previous backup using the EWS on HP LaserJet or PageWide Enterprise MFPs: -Access the EWS for your printer using the IP Address or Host Name. -On the home screen of the printer control panel, touch the Information icon, and then touch Ethernet. -Write down the printer IP address or host name or touch the Print icon. -On a computer or device connected to the same network as the printer, open a web browser, enter the printer IP address or enter https:// and the host name, and then press Enter. -If a message displays indicating that accessing the website is not secure, select the option to continue to the website. -If the General tab does not display, sign in to the EWS using an administrator account, and then select the General tab. -Back up your printer data from the EWS. -In the left column, select Back up and Restore. -Select your option to Backup or Restore printer data. -For backups, enter the folder path where you want to save the backup. -For restoring a previously saved backup, enter the path to the backup file. -Set new authentication settings or enter the authentication information. -For backups, enter an Encryption Key, Windows Domain, User Name, and Password to set authentication settings for your backup data. -For restoring data, enter any previously set authentication settings to access the data to restore. -Select OK to start backing up or restoring the printer data.
