Hi, Tamayuri! This time, I'm heading to Fudeyabu Falls and Heya Falls, two secluded waterfalls in Takimoto, Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture. I head about 15km from the Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine on Wakayama Prefectural Route 44, but the road gradually narrows, the asphalt peels away, and the road becomes extremely bumpy and rough. The forest road leading to the falls also completely collapsed due to flooding. With warped asphalt, fallen trees, and meters-long rockfalls, it became impossible to continue by car halfway, so I parked my car out of the way and walked about 15 minutes to reach Fudeyabu Falls! Of all the secluded waterfalls I've visited, this was the worst road I've ever encountered. Next, I changed into my stream climbing gear and headed further upstream to Heya Falls, deep in the valley! 🌿To everyone: This video was filmed with utmost safety precautions in place.
