In this video we visit the abandoned copper mines of Alderley Edge in Cheshire in the UK. These ancient mines have been worked since the bronze age through Roman times and into Victorian times. We explore the old copper mines in this underground Urbex and see deposits of copper through the rock. We also touch on the book The Weird stone of Brisingamen written by Alan Garner. We talk about the Legend of Alderley Edge. Indeed the mines are like the mines of moria We explore an old mine and look at the mine shafts and the underground Mining architecture.
