Wrecked // Ninjago Seabound Animatic

This animatic takes place between Seabound and Crystalized. I rewatched Seabound the other day and this whole concept started to form when I listened to this song. Some of the movements may be a little awkward. That is mainly because I used only Procreate and CapCut to create this, and neither are very good for animatics, or at least I have no idea how to use either of them properly. I had to get creative many times just to do the simplest tasks like animating the rain in the background. I just wanted to share what was going through my head when I made it! After the city of Ninjago was flooded, the Teapot of Tyrahn (were Nadakhan is trapped) was washed away to sea. It arrived at the docks where Jay found it. He knew the horrors it could cause, but his reasoning diluted with his pain, he decided to take it. Even though his efforts would likely be worthless, he wanted to go to a place away from the heart of Ninjago city to release Nadakhan to try to make a deal with him to get Nya back. Along the way he felt regret, but decided to keep going. When he arrived at the lighthouse, he was visited by Nya. She still had enough humanity in her to know briefly remember Jay to help him, and take away the teapot. The reunion didn’t last long and she left. Jay decided to stay and live at the lighthouse until the events of Crystalized #ninjago #seabound #ninjagoseabound #animatic
