Wakeman's Forgotten Railroad History and Mystery Ruins
Has you can tell I filmed this area on 3 different occasions, had to get it all in make sure its complete. Wakeman use to be a stopping point for the New York Central Railroad, now the bridge is part of a rails to trail route. (I will cover more of this in future videos) Then I noticed down the hill by some ruins that might have been part of Old Pump House Possibly but didn't see any pipes anywhere, still a head scratcher. There used to be a Railroad Depot but was told by local that it was moved and saved in a different area. Got a nice Gazebo and a Water Fountain in the town center. Last but not least was an old New York Central Freight house and mill. Love the History and if have any other information of the area, put it in the comments below. See you on the Next Journey. #railroadhistory #ruins #smalltown #thejourney
