In this video I pull rope through the underground conduit runs and get everything ready before the concrete crew arrives. They take over from there, grading the stone base, installing the vapor barrier, laying out the wire mesh, and setting the forms for the upcoming concrete pour in our 40x48 pole barn. Just when everything was coming together, severe storms rolled through northwest Pennsylvania. Tornadoes touched down only a few miles away, and one of the storms brought down a large tree in my dad’s backyard—missing his pool by only a few feet. I head over to help clean up the mess and see just how close it came to causing major damage.
