We stayed at the Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel(Marriott Group) in Arashiyama, Kyoto. We had a wonderful time enjoying Japanese style afternoon tea with a view of Arashiyama and Katsura River. We also enjoyed a rickshaw ride to the hotel, a cormorant fishing, and an open-air guest room bath, all of which are unique experiences of this hotel. The atmosphere of the hotel, which was created by renovating a historic building, is so cozy. There is a recommended Arashiyama walking course to take from the hotel.
