The IPS CaseDesigner® software was now updated and equipped with new features! Take a look and learn more about and how to use the new features, improvements, and chances coming with this update: Dental Scans Imported dental or occlusion scans are automatically set in the correct orientation and also closed for most cases. ➡️ Faster import process and less third-party software usage. Bone intersection Visualize the bone intersections and measure the intersection models. ➡️ Higher intraoperative efficiency. Compare data You can visually compare the pre-operative or post-operative situation with the planning the pre-operative with the post-operative situation The pre-operative, post-operative situation and the planning models can be exported as STL files. ➡️ Only the post-operative scan and the original planning file are needed. New Planning features Switch in the 3D viewer between the perspective projection and the new parallel („orthographic“) perspective. ➡️ More model designs are available. The chin translates according to the NHP axis. The rotation is still around the mandible axis. ➡️ More realistic treatment movements without workarounds. The performed movement direction is highlighted in white. (e.g. Right/Left, Back/Front, Down/Up) ➡️ Higher planning efficiency The point measurement shows the coordinate values towards the NHP. Hover with your mouse over the area to see also the pre-operative values. You can separately adjust the upper and lower boundary of the occlusogram color in the virtual occlusion feature. ➡️ The distance between the cusps and the cross-section can be displayed more precisely. More OBJ files from different hardware are supported. Compatible operating systems Windows 10 and 11 Apple Mac devices with Intel and M1 chips are compatible, so all MacBooks.
