Sonic Racing Crossworlds - All Cups (Sonic Speed) - RTA 1:42:17.895 IGT 1:19:16

A lot has happened since my last Crossworlds run I’ve become a SRC mod, we’ve switched the timing to IGT (The retiming isn’t as bad as you think) and everyone got good at the game I had WR by several minutes in a couple categories at the time and now people can beat that by many minutes on any rival level This also appeared in GDQ recently with a Race Park run kind of similar to how Mario Kart speedrunners can do it. I really like that idea because we can choose the Crossworlds that appear and I definitely want to do a couple runs like that just to see what my time could be like if the Crossworld RNG wasn’t so huge Now that this is timed by IGT my playstyle can change a bit, don’t have to ignore hitting the CPUs in front now and try and farm for speed items Slight problem though, LiveSplit covers most of the left side of the screen and I cannot see the 2nd item slot at all, not so noticeable on my past runs but from this run yeah it’s kinda noticeable now. So it’s always a fun surprise to know what I’ve been hoarding in the 2nd slot Yes, I could just move LiveSplit to the right side but at this point it’s just a staple of my runs that LiveSplit is there and why change it? It makes for a unique speedrunning experience in this game. It wasn’t so bad for Superstars or Ring Racers but it has a impact on this game 7:21 - Oh nice, Coral Town as the Crossworld in the 1st GP. Good start to the run 8:38 - Well that Omochao ain't getting used optimally. The joys of a single monitor setup, I like to see my splits to know how its going and I'm too used to having it on the left at this point. Its a unique speedrunning experience, handicapping myself when I really dont need to 11:28 - This is just like the Orbinaut of Ring Racers, Except it isn't my own that are hitting me (Guess that ain't a problem in 2.4 now huh?) but everyone elses! 13:57 - No! Why Dragon Road? Going from Coral Town to Dragon Road is sure something. It was going so well at the start... 15:02 - Green Missile jumpscare, They really need these to make sounds like Shells do in Mario Kart. Even the Bomb makes a sound when its out 15:37 - Oh what a snipe! This needs the SEGA sound to play like Ring Racers. I'd mod that in if I understood anything at all of modding this game 18:55 - If I knew that Wisp was in the 2nd slot I would have used the Frenzy immediately... But perhaps it worked out that I didn't know because I think I would've gotten hit by something anyway 21:07 - Don't ask what I was thinking here because I dont have a clue either, I got no excuses for that one.
