How to fill a propane gas bottle with an adaptor at a LPG filling station

The instructions for doing this are below HOW TO FILL A GAS BOTTLE The bottle needs to be removed from the vehicle!   (Note 2 Ltr of gas =1kg) First you need to weigh the bottle.(An empty 6kg gas bottle  is around 8-9kg) The empty bottle weight is know as the  TARE WEIGHT! When you have established the weight this tells you how much gas is in the bottle i.e. when it's full it should be around 14kg Half full around 11kg Empty 8kg Now to the filling First make sure the valve is turned off on the bottle! Fit the adapter to the bottle and tighten. Now open the bottle valve. Now connect the filling hose to the adaptor/bottle. (Note upon connection to your bottle you will hear gas entering the bottle without doing anything this is what is left in the hose from the previous user!) Now press the button on the filling pump to deliver the gas keep it pressed till you reach 12lts (don't worry if you go slightly over or below!) Now turn off the valve on top of your bottle. Remove the filling hose (Note again a small amount of gas will be released!) Now you can remove the adaptor from you bottle. Your bottle is now full and ready to be put back onto your motorhome ensure tightness and spray test joint after turning back on.
