I didn't even try to delve into the technical specifications of any particular model... My choice was based on simple and objective parameters. The Kawasaki Versys 650, well, I don't like the looks. These two bikes are in the same class, but I preferred the V-Strom because it's more suited to touring. The Versys is, after all, more suited to city riding. The BMW GS is awesome! If I could, I'd get the 800. The Honda Africa 750 is an older, capable bike with excellent off-road capability! I respect it! But I want a station wagon and something younger. Like, for example, the Honda Transalp 700. Which is a bit tall and gets more gas. The Yamaha Tenere 660 is simply enormous! But it's good for off-roading! Of all the bikes listed, only the Strom has a seat height of 820, which I'm more or less happy with! And the fuel consumption is also impressive, as is the Versys.
