【帰ってきた常磐特急⁉︎】E653系"ときわ号"に乗ってみた
The E657 series is currently used on the Joban Line Limited Express Hitachi and Tokiwa. Before the E657 series was introduced, the E653 series was operated as the Fresh Hitachi and the 651 series as the Super Hitachi. After being replaced by the E657 series, the E653 series was temporarily transferred to Niigata, but now two trains have returned to Kanto for special trains. The E653 series was operated as the Joban Line Limited Express Tokiwa on a one-way trip only on January 28th! It was a rare opportunity to see a train in Fresh Hitachi Revival color (light blue) running on the "Tokiwa", which is the successor to the Fresh Hitachi♪ Real-time updates on the trip!
