AAPI Faculty Highlight: Georgina Pazcoguin

The AAPI Heritage Month celebration continues with another amazing Steps Academy teacher🌟 Georgina Pazcoguin is a trailblazing actress, producer, author, and former New York City Ballet soloist. Making history as the first AAPI woman promoted from the NYCB corps, she continues to command the stage—recently making a guest appearance with Ballet West in 2026—while leveraging her elite movement background for prestige television, including Severance. A relentless advocate for systemic equity in the arts, Georgina co-founded Final Bow for Yellowface to combat racial stereotypes and currently serves on the 2025-2026 Tony Awards Nominating Committee as an Actress, Producer, and Diversity Advocate.
