Mashishing Protest | Residents demand action over undocumented shop owners
Residents of Mashishing, Mpumalanga have given the Departments of Home Affairs and Employment and Labour seven days to respond to their demands over undocumented foreign shop owners. The community staged a peaceful march and shut the town down. They are calling on authorities to verify the legal status of businesses and employment in the area. They claim that many shop owners do not have the required documentation to operate or employ staff. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
