A criminal investigation team was immediately formed, and their efforts led to the identification of seven suspects involved in the incident. The team apprehended five of them, who confessed to the crime. Intensified efforts, in coordination with the Giza General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, resulted in the arrest of the fleeing driver on Ahmed Orabi Street in the Agouza Police Station district. He was found in possession of a small bag containing some of the stolen money. Following his directions, four suitcases containing more stolen money were recovered from a rented apartment on the same street. Furthermore, in coordination with the Cairo General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, another fugitive, Fawzy M.M., a 41-year-old unemployed man with a criminal record and a six-month prison sentence for assault, was apprehended. A suitcase containing some of the stolen money and a Kia car, purchased for 200,000 Egyptian pounds with the proceeds of the theft, were found in his possession. In coordination with the Criminal Investigation Department of the Qalyubia Security Directorate, efforts resulted in the arrest of Mohamed A.A., 43, unemployed, and Saber K.A., 32, also unemployed. Mohamed A.A. was found with some of the stolen money. Both men had assisted the perpetrators in hiding after the crime. The necessary legal procedures were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution, which initiated an investigation. Efforts are underway to apprehend the fugitive and recover the remaining stolen funds.
