ATRAQUE CON VIENTO CRUZADO. 5 INTENTOS FALLIDOS, 1 SOLUCION CORRECTA.

Maneuvers in port don't fail due to bad luck. They almost always fail because of decisions made before entering the harbor. In this video, I analyze several failed maneuvers and discuss what's really happening: wind, space, the skipper's decisions, the crew's reaction, and the errors in judgment that end up complicating the maneuver. The goal isn't to criticize anyone. We've all been in situations like this. The important thing is to understand what happened so it doesn't happen to you when you have to maneuver. In the analysis, we'll cover topics such as: reading the environment in port the effect of wind in confined spaces speed and boat control when to abort a maneuver how to prevent nerves from ruining the decision Because many times the problem isn't the maneuver itself… it's how we get to it.
