Circular Serging with a Curved Foot on the Baby Lock Ovation
The Baby Lock Ovation has an optional curved foot which is shorter than the standard presser foot that comes with your machine. This short foot allows you to have less pressure on your fabric as you guide it around a circular corner. Sue Green-Baker explains what makes the curved foot special and uses Superior's Fantastico Polyester Thread (http://www.superiorthreads.com/shop/c...) to create a gorgeous stitch. You do not need a Baby Lock Ovation serger to learn this technique, however, we do recommend using a shorter foot on your serger, as it will help you guide your piece through the serger easier.
