Frecce Tricolori FULL 10-Ship Display | W Lignano Airshow 2026

The Frecce Tricolori return to Lignano Sabbiadoro in their 66th display season. Although starting the season as an 8-ship, the team have now returned to their iconic 10-ship formation, the reduction was due to some of the team's ageing MB-339PANs being unservicable. The team is due to transition to the Aermacchi M-346 Master, with them originally set to switch to the M-345 though this decision was vetoed. This will be one of the biggest changes in the history of the team, with this season possibly being one of their very last in their iconic Macchino. Despite all of this, the team is still going strong, with many domestic displays and flypasts throughout the season and two international displays in Sweden and Romania. With the transition to the new jet imminent, there is much certainty that the team will continue well into the future.
