Chordplay - Jake E. Lee's Twisted Triads

Hey gang! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with Jake E. Lee's Twisted Triads. I've had numerous requests to feature more of Jake E. Lee's beyond-inspiring music, and with the recent passing of the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, I figured the viewers out there would like diving a little deeper into Jake's great music and chord-based ideas - so let's dive in! This is technically the third Jake E. Lee-related Chordplay lesson that I've put together, but this time we're focusing on his "twisted triads" during those lush clean guitar moments commonly found in his music. From volume swells, interesting chord voicings, droning open strings, ear-catching dissonance, and much more! This lesson attempts to shed some additional light on these inspired areas of Jake's chord vocabulary and overall fretboard skills. The ideas featured in this lesson include chord-based and rhythm guitar sections of songs such as Ozzy's 'Never Know Why,' Badlands 'The Fire Lasts Forever,' a deeper look at Red Dragon Cartel's 'A Painted Heart,' the intro section from 'Demon A Go Go,' not to mention an exclusive "Jake E. Lee Chord Factory" section, where I uncover where Jake gets some of his "twisted triad" chords/sounds to use in his music. Needless to say, if you're a Jake E. Lee fan, a viewer that asked for more from this six-string legend, an Ozzy Osbourne fan still mourning and thinking of his recent passing, a guitarist looking for some slick chord-based ideas that came from an absolute guitar legend, or maybe you're just curious what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you!
