Incredible to see "Black Five" 45110 back in steam at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for this event. Operating a reduced timetable because of the extreme heat, the Stanier 4-6-0 shared the headlines with Bullied Pacific 34070 MANSTON, Class 2MT 78022, Caledonian Railway "439" 0-4-4T 15189 and GER 0-4-0ST "Coffee Pot" 229. Resident GWR 2-8-0s 2807 and 3850 completed the roster. BETTON GRANGE had been stopped for attention and could be seen outside the shed, which housed a considerable overhaul queue with MN 35006, 2-8-0 2874, Manor 7820 and Hall 7903.
