Assassins attacked, severely wounding her. Under the care of a miraculous doctor in Sheep Village, Consort Mei narrowly escaped death. In the early Ming Dynasty, Japanese pirates frequently ravaged the coastal regions of Jiangsu and Shanghai. When the pirates attacked, the brave citizens of Sheep Village decided to shield the village with "burning fires," standing guard day and night.
