Dreaming of New Worlds: in Painting, Sculpture and Beyond
Sofia Serpa Arango is an interdisciplinary artist exploring ideas around heritage, storytelling, and (non)belonging. Working across painting and sculpture, she interweaves familial histories and pop-culture iconography with German/Latin American folklore tradition to create fantastical, autofictional worlds. Her work examines the space between sincerity and artifice, visualising the fuzzy boundaries that shape cultural inheritance. #artinterview #contemporaryart #visualart #artiststudio #artdocumentary
