Community Service in Butare, Rwanda - International Youth Forum
In January 2010 the UNESCO Chair and Institute of Comparative Human Rights hosted an International Youth Human Rights Forum in Rwanda. This video documents one of the community service projects that took place in Butare, Rwanda in the Huye district where over 80 young people from around joined volunteers from Rwanda to help clear land so that homes could be built and serve as government provided housing for people in need. It was a small act of service, but one of solidarity with the people of Rwanda.
