This conversion of solar power is then used to power loads and appliances in the home. We'll continue to use it. Home electricity isn't connected directly to the on/off grid inverter, but rather through an ATS (automated switching device). This is compliant with electricity regulations and legal, and requires no permits. When the sun goes down or at night, the ATS switches to normal home electricity. No power mixing is required.
