Update on mineral nutrition of dairy cows
"Update on mineral nutrition of dairy cows" will be presented by Bill Weiss, The Ohio State University, at noon (Central time) on Monday, May 12. Because of changes in productivity and basal diets and feeds, mineral requirements of dairy cows need to be continually updated. Although cows require at least 18 different minerals, we'll focus on magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, chromium, copper, manganese and selenium. Concentration recommendations will be shared.
