Out of the 11.5 million people in the country, around 20% live in rural settlements called campos. Life here is quite different from the towns and cities, due to lack of infrastructure and work opportunities. Despite the noticeable poverty, most inhabitants do manage to survive and raise children who later on often move to urban areas for better work or career prospects...
