Saturn is considered as the Lord of Karma, revealing the consequences of our acts and bringing the events and people we need to experience in this lifetime. The Four Types of Karma outlined in this video: 🪐 Sanchita karma is an aggregation of known and unknown karmas; whatever was experienced throughout other lifetimes (yet not as the unique ego "self" we imagine ourselves to be now) and is the origin of our ‘debts’ (pāpa) and ‘blessings’ (punya) in this lifetime 🪐 A portion of sanchita karma shapes our current life experience as prārabdha karma (which can also be thought of as fate), determining when, where and to whom we are born, our culture, our body and the colour of our skin, the language we speak, and so on 🪐 Kriyamana karma is how we respond to our prārabdha karma, meaning our actions in the present moment; kriya (kri) means action; manas means mind = what we do as a result of our attitude 🪐 Āgāmī karma is future or likely karma (in this life or another) resulting from what we do now we can’t be certain of outcomes, but can do our best with the best of intentions (kriyamana karma) for a harmonious future The notion of karma is explained in an ancient Indian text [my additions in brackets]: Now as a person is like this or like that, [prārabdha karma] according as s/he acts and according as s/he behaves, so will s/he be; [kriyamana karma] a person of good acts will become good, a person of bad acts, bad; [āgāmī karma] s/he becomes pure by pure deeds, bad by bad deeds; [āgāmī karma] And here they say that a person consists of desires, [prārabdha karma] and as is their desire, so is their will; [kriyamana karma] and as is their will, so is their deed; [kriyamana karma] and whatever deed they do, that they will reap.
