Y Viva España - Tuna de Ingenieros de Zaragoza

Performance from the VOICES THAT MATTER charity gala held on June 13, 2026, in the Mozart Hall of the Zaragoza Auditorium. "Y Viva España," popularized by Manolo Escobar in 1973, is one of the best-known and most beloved songs in Spanish popular music. Interestingly, its origin lies in Belgium: the original song, titled "Eviva España," was composed in 1971 by Leo Caerts, with lyrics by Leo Rozenstraten, and was initially performed by the Belgian singer Samantha. Inspired by the image of Spain as a land of sun, joy, music, and holidays, the song was adapted into several languages. The Spanish version achieved enormous popularity thanks to Manolo Escobar and, over time, became a true popular anthem, present at parties, celebrations, and sporting events. A song born outside our borders that ended up becoming part of Spain's musical memory.
