Coal Ironworks 12 Ton Press- 3 Months in review Video! from the average modern blacksmith. IT ROCKS!

Hello all and welcome back to the channel, for todays video I'm going back over the forging press now that I have had it for 3 months and talking about some of my dies. I am not associated with Coal Ironworks but with the comments and questions I have received even recently that maybe I should make a video talking about how much I live this little machine. In 3 months time utilizing this little press in my forge I have been able to tackle and attempt things I would have approached very cautiously if even at all previously. I made my first Damascus steel out of cable and have been able to move 1 inch bar way faster than I could ever dream of using the traditional hammer and anvil. Don't get me wrong, I often use it just for the majority of the moving of material and then finish and refine on the anvil. This video breaks from my traditional uploads, I will feature a forging video with a new project sometime later this week. Hope all is well with everyone and you have been able to get out into you're own shops. The past couple of months have been killer for us, we have been super super busy and im still playing catch up. but regardless content is coming! I invite you all to check out coal iron if you haven already, I spoke with a gentleman a month or so ago that ordered one in the UK and the process didn't sound to painful or crazy expensive (from what I gather). If you haven't already please consider subscribing, and remember to check us out on Facebook and Instagram Facebook.com/EPIronworks and Hasty_1983 Check out Coal Ironworks www.coaliron.com
