Opinião | EVOLUÇÃO NO TRATAMENTO DE CÂNCER NO BRASIL | 23/11/2023

Cancer is projected to be the leading cause of death in Brazil by 2030, according to the Oncology Observatory of the "Todos Juntos Contra o Câncer" (All Together Against Cancer) movement. On the other hand, data shows that receiving a diagnosis today does not mean a death sentence. Thanks to advancements in treatments and early detection, the chances of a cure reach 90% when tumors are discovered early. This week's "Opinião" program presents the latest data on cancer, as well as the newest treatments available. To clarify doubts on the subject, the program welcomes oncological surgeon Héber Salvador, president of the Brazilian Society of Oncological Surgery; radiation oncologist Gustavo Nader Marta, president of the Brazilian Society of Radiotherapy (SBRT); and clinical oncologist Carlos Gil Moreira Ferreira, president of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Oncology. #TVCulturaOpinion ▶️ DOWNLOAD THE CULTURA PLAY APP ▶️ Play Store: http://bit.ly/3KUUHhI Apple Store: http://apple.co/3LgEK72 Subscribe to the channel and click the bell to be notified of new content!
