“Request Video” aired on weekday afternoons from 1989-1992 on KDOC (channel 56). The show featured live interviews and music, along with MTV-type music videos. In this segment, host Gia DeSantis interviewed Thelonious Monster, promoting their new album “Beautiful Mess.” In studio were band members Bob Forrest, Pete Weiss, Dallas Don Burnet, Frenchie [Pat French] and Dix Denney. (Chris Handsone was not present.) In their discussion of "Wally," they are referring to KDOC political commentator Wally George, father of actress Rebecca De Mornay, who reportedly was not on speaking terms with him for many years. “Request Video” was nearing the end of its run.
