doing things that make me feel good

Today is a mix of slow self-care, real life errands, and getting things done that genuinely improve my environment and my mindset. I start the day helping at my mum’s house- cleaning, organising, and working on creating a more functional, calm space while she’s away. It’s one of those grounding, satisfying kinds of jobs where you can physically see things coming together. Later, I head out for fuel, get my lash extensions done early in the morning, and talk a little about future goals (including the kind of home I dream of one day… yes, the fireplace is non-negotiable). What was meant to be a simple day out turns into a bit of an intentional spending moment- grabbing new gym clothes from Cotton On while they’re on sale (investment pieces, obviously), followed by groceries and a reset. To finish the day, I go to the gym and absolutely smash a leg session, then wind down thinking about a quiet Friday night in—crochet, colouring in, and slowing everything down again. This is your reminder that “feeling good” isn’t always about doing nothing! It’s about choosing things that support the life you’re building. ♡ Subscribe for lifestyle vlogs, self-care routines, fitness, wellness, home organisation, and realistic day-in-the-life content.
