Seven brave participants on 3 prepared SUVs SsangYong Korando, UAZ Patriot, Toyota LC Prado90 poisoned in this turbulent time from Minsk to Kabardino-Balkaria for adventures in their first off-road expedition "TO ELBRUS". The distance of 2200 km Minsk-Mogilev-Bryansk-Orel-Voronezh-Kamensk-Shakhtinsky-Armavir-Essentuki-Nalchik was overcome in two stages 1440 km and 760 km. In this series you will see: Cherek gorge and gorge; Upper Balkaria; Fortress Abai Kala, Amirkhan Kala Climbing 2000 meters to the Shkolny pass. ⚡️The conquest of the Shkolny pass or, as it is also called, Chegetdzhara was the most difficult in this series. The pass is famous for being the highest pass in Russia that can be conquered on an off-road vehicle. It connects two large gorges: Cherek and Khulamo-Bezengi. The road, 30 kilometers long, goes from Upper Balkaria to Bezengi. A unique place is located in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. Chegetjara is not just one of the paths that dotted the Caucasian mountains. This is a real mountainous and very dangerous road, which appeared in Soviet times. This route is recommended for those who want to experience new sensations and test their strength in off-road conditions. Experienced people say that Chegetdzhar both frightens and attracts at the same time. Basically, this is due to the unpredictability of the road. On our expedition, we reached 2000 meters, but did not conquer the pass because of thick fog and short daylight hours, driving in the mountains at night is an unjustified risk.
