Train Sets for Wind Ensemble: mockup for study and review (updated)
Originally written for Oakleigh Brass in 2024, Train Sets is a group of three pieces that may be played together or separately. Each is influenced by a bit of railway imagery, in particular the trains round Melbourne, Australia. This version, for wind ensemble, was commissioned in 2026 for the 20th anniversary of Heidelberg Wind Ensemble and is slated for performance at the end of the year.
