Winter Amtrak Trains on the Keystone Corridor! New Station Construction & More

Amtrak trains speeding through the snow, heritage units, horn salutes, new station construction and more! I took a few trips to the Amtrak Keystone Corridor in the winter of 2021 to see the progress of the new Middletown Station construction, as well as document the site of the old platform. While I was there, the Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad also made an appearance, and some NS as well. While not every visit was covered in snow, the beautiful clear winter days between storms were perfect to take advantage of capturing Amtrak's Phase III Heritage Unit 145 in service on the Pennsylvanian. I also stopped by my favorite spots in Mt Joy and to get my first snow shots at the then relatively new Mount Joy station, which offers a great place for railfans and passengers alike. A few other locations were visited as well. In the next video, I'll start my day in Middletown and chase a train down the Royalton Branch all the way down to the Northeast Corridor where we were met with snow & ice.
