Retired as the Director of the State Forensic Science Lab in Madhya Pradesh, he has also held the position of Head of the Forensic Department at the Central Academy for Police Training under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, in Bhopal. He has done his M.Sc. in Forensic Science from Sagar University and a Ph.D. from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, has pursued various certification courses, including Crime Scene Investigation, Diploma in Forensic Chemistry & Toxicology from NICFS, MHA New Delhi, and Certification course in Polygraph Techniques from CFSL, CBI, New Delhi.
