Patty Stott and Susan Chalela, MPT, joined us at our Global Learning Conference 2024, discussing "Upper Cervical Instability - Presentation and Non-surgical Treatment Methods." Patty Stott is a licensed physical therapist, athletic trainer, hand therapist, and functional medicine practitioner specializing in treating those with HSD/EDS and other connective tissue pathologies. She has a passion for seeking out all possible non surgical strategies in the complex coexisting conditions we see with connective tissue issues, or creating the best environment for recovery. She works clinically with patients and also write on the topic of HSD/EDS in research publications. Susan Chalela, MPT is a Neurological physical therapist specialist who primarily treats patients with central nervous system compromise due to cervical instability. Patients with cervical instability travel from all over the world to work with Susan using her Finding Functional Foundations approach. She is developing and teaching her successful Finding Functional Foundations approach as a continuing education series through the EDS ECHO program. She regularly lectures nationally and internationally to physical therapy and medical audiences.
