DIY Flash Costume Part 1: Shirt & Emblem

This DIY Flash costume is based on the CW version, since I'm not really a fan of the Justice League version that I've seen in the movie trailers so far (looks too much like Iron Man and not enough like the Flash I feel). Had requests for a DIY Flash costume from Michiel, Griffin2, and Skymaster1267, and it was also my cousin's Halloween costume this year, so here's the tutorial for the first part, the shirt and the emblem. The craft foam, sticky backed velcro, zipper, gold foil fabric, gold cording, red vinyl, and fake black leather can all be found at JoAnn Fabrics. The red shirt I picked up for $4 at the local Salvation Army. (Also, don't mind the marks on my arms here; I started filming this costume during the summer, and I had been burned by wild parsnip again at that point).
