“SG‑38 Build Part 6 – She’s HUGE! Connecting the Fuselage Components on the 1/3 Scale Glider”

In Part 6 of my Value Planes 1/3 scale SG‑38 build series, the project suddenly takes a big leap — literally. Today I’m connecting all the major components built so far, and this vintage primary glider has officially outgrown my workbench. After a bit of head‑scratching and rummaging through the hardware bag (some fittings will definitely be swapped for more suitable connectors), the SG‑38 finally starts to take shape. And wow… she’s huge. This is the moment the model stops being a collection of parts and starts becoming an aircraft. This is an impressive model already — and we haven’t even built the wings yet. Stick around, because the SG‑38 only gets more dramatic from here.
